I enjoyed this episode so much thank you! So interesting and validating to see butt in chair in mini servings…and the contrast between you two. Take away: do whatever works for you even if it’s 20 min at a time…me lol
I love so much how different everyone’s process is and that it’s okay for all writers to be individual! I love how Sarah said she doesn’t do much interiority and she writes short, snappy page turning scenes! I look forward to checking out her work. 🤩🫶🏻
Fascinating how every writer does things so differently, isn’t it! It’s always great to hear that validation that there is no single “right” way and that it’s okay to prioritize different aspects of storytelling if that’s what works for your own style.
Haven't been on Substack for a while and so happy to be back because I've missed listening to your podcasts, Evelyn! 😀 This one is great! And I'm walking away thinking more about propulsive plot points and tightening my pitches.

haha YES! You do you, Amjed! The right way is the way that works for you!
So glad you enjoyed this one -- thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. You made my evening!

Welcome back, Petra! I’m so happy to have you back, too, and thrilled to hear that this episode spoke to you.
I'm working on a dual timeline based in Italy AND I only read The Last Apothecary recently so I really loved your interview with Sarah, thank you!
TIMELY! I'm so happy you enjoyed this interview, Rosie!
So inspiring!
I’m so happy to hear this, John!
I had even taken a screenshot of the podcast, to add on my website which I'm using as a notebook
