Hi Rima! I do go for long walks because I find they are SO good for breaking through plot snarls.
As for reading, I try not to read anything in the same genre as I’m writing in during the zero and first draft phases. But after that, I read whatever I want since the voice of the book I’m writing is solid by that point. ☺️
Just curious, do you read and go for long walks while you are writing a book? Does this help your productivity?

Love this idea to keep things evergreen and current. 🫶🏻
I've also invented a band and song lyrics before, which is a fun trick!
Ha! So creative. I don’t think my writing skills could ever stretch to lyrics! 🤣🙈🫶🏻
Thanks so much for answering my question! So glad to know it's not just me!
Definitely not just you!
Cultural references--yes! Nothing dates a book more than one that is steeped in too many contemporary cultural references.
Can't wait to see the cover reveal...
I am so excited to reveal it. It's nothing like what I imagined, but in a wonderful way.
